Eitz Chaim provides a balanced approach to education that is unique among Toronto's Jewish day schools on two fronts:Living a life of Torah Judaism while living in the wider world supported with a strong general studies curriculum. At Eitz Chaim, we strive to provide that balance that allows our students to acquire skills of the highest standard in Torah studies, while developing awareness for the importance of ethical conduct. The Eitz Chaim student is one that is first and foremost immersed in Torah with an exceptional program in limudei kodesh, and Jewish Law. At the same time, Gemara, Mishna, Navi, one that highlights the core subjects of Chumash, our students are taught a first rate general studies program that prepares them to live in the wider world as b'nei Torah. As an outgrowth of these values, family, rebbeim, focusing on students' relationships with their peers, we consciously connect study with ma'ase -- responsible action, and Jews in the wider community.
