What you should know about Viking Foods and Imports (1991) Inc
The Leaside location included a retail store where the meat and imported products were sold while the wholesale side grew with increasing sales to Northern Ontario and select locations across Canada. Eventually my father Olavi became the sole owner and moved the business from downtown to the more uptown Leaside area where a decision was made to start importing food products from Finland to expand the business.
